We are 3D printing custom guitar controllers that are used by some of the best players in Europe and have been well tested in terms of gameplay and longevity.
These specific controllers have been programmed for PC and can be used right away with Guitar Hero, Clone Hero, YARG, Fortnite Festival, etc.. It is also possible to reprogram the controllers with free software and then use them on various consoles. Technically speaking, the controllers offers the following features:
- Mechanical frets (Kailh Red Choc low-profile switches, linear with 35g activation force)
- Mechanical strum bar (Kailh Navy Box switches, clicky with 60g activation force) plus two additional springs and rubber dampers for an optimal game feel
- Custom made circuit boards
- Latency under 2ms (polling rate of 1kHz)
- Connection via 3m cable and USB-A plug
- Removable guitar neck
- Guitar strap included
The guitars, being 3D printed, show some minor optical defects compared to injection molded controllers. These defects can hardly be seen from the front and have no impact on the gameplay or the robustness of the devices.
